Official Contest Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Global X Investments Canada Inc. (“Global X” or the “Sponsor“). By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations (the “Rules“) and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

1. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest opens at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on June 22, 2026 and closes at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on August 4, 2026 (the “Contest Period“). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible. The Sponsor’s computer clock will be the official timekeeper for the Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:

(a) are legal residents of Canada; and
(b) have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.

The age of majority is 18 years in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, and 19 years in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and Yukon.

The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

3. WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE

The following individuals are not eligible to enter or to win:

(a) employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and contractors of the Sponsor, Global X or Mirae Asset Financial Group, and of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates;
(b) registered dealers and advisers, and the dealing representatives, advising representatives, and associate advising representatives of any such firm, together with any other individual registered under applicable Canadian securities legislation including, without limitation, any financial advisor, investment advisor, registered representative, portfolio manager, or other registrant who, in the course of their business, distributes, recommends, sells, or advises on securities (including exchange-traded funds);
(c) any person otherwise engaged in the marketing, sale, or distribution of Global X products;
(d) any person involved in the development, administration, operation, fulfillment, or judging of the Contest, including the Sponsor’s contest agencies and prize suppliers; and
(e) the immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) and any person residing in the same household (whether or not related) of any individual described in (a) through (d) above.

The exclusion of registered advisors and other registrants in section 3(b) is intended to ensure that the Contest is not, and is not capable of being construed as, a benefit, inducement, or sales practice in connection with the distribution of securities, consistent with applicable Canadian securities requirements governing sales practices.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, visit https://www.globalx.ca/silver-bar-contest during the Contest Period and complete the online registration form with your full name and a valid email address. No other method of entry is permitted. Entries by mail, telephone, fax, or any other method will not be accepted.

There is no purchase or payment of any kind required to enter or win. You do not need to be a Global X client or investor, or to hold any Global X product, to enter or win.

Limit of one (1) entry per person for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of the number of email addresses or identities used. Duplicate, incomplete, or fraudulent entries, and entries submitted outside the Contest Period, will be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged except as set out in these Rules.

5. PRIZE

There is one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of one (1) one-kilogram (1,000-gram) silver bar meeting or exceeding the .999 fine silver (99.9% purity) standard (the “Prize“).

The approximate retail value of the Prize is CAD $3,500 as of the date these Rules were prepared. The actual value of the Prize at the time of fulfillment will vary with prevailing silver market prices and may be higher or lower than this amount. No cash equivalent, credit, or substitution will be offered, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise required by law. The Prize is awarded “as is,” with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, beyond any provided by the manufacturer or mint.

The Prize is a physical commodity item only. It is not a security, an investment, a Global X product, or a recommendation, and the value of the Prize is in no way indicative of, or connected to, the performance of any Global X exchange-traded fund or any other investment product. Entering the Contest provides no investment benefit and is unrelated to any decision to buy, hold, or sell any security.

6. ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

7. WINNER SELECTION (RANDOM DRAW)

One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on August 5, 2026 at the offices of the Sponsor (or its designated agent) using a randomized selection process.

8. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION

Before being declared a winner and receiving the Prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided and within the time specified, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. An entrant who fails to answer the skill-testing question correctly within the time allowed will be disqualified, and an alternate entrant may be selected by random draw.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION

The selected entrant will be contacted by the Sponsor using the email address provided at registration within three (3) business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must (i) respond to the notification within two (2) business days, (ii) correctly answer the skill-testing question, and (iii) sign and return any declaration and release reasonably required by the Sponsor.

If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required time, fails the skill-testing question, declines the Prize, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Rules, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate entrant may be selected by random draw, time permitting. The Sponsor will make a reasonable number of attempts to award the Prize before declaring it unclaimed.

The Sponsor may publish or announce the winner’s name on its website and social media channels and at https://www.globalx.ca/silver-bar-contest.

10. PRIZE CONDITIONS

Delivery: The Prize will be delivered by insured courier to a valid Canadian street address confirmed with the winner following verification. The Sponsor will cover standard shipping and insurance within Canada. The winner is responsible for providing a secure delivery address. The Sponsor is not responsible for any Prize lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery.
Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, and other taxes, duties, and costs associated with acceptance and use of the Prize. The Sponsor provides no tax advice in connection with the Prize, and winners are encouraged to consult their own tax advisor.
Non-transferable: The Prize must be accepted as awarded by the verified winner and is non-transferable. It may not be assigned, sold, or gifted to any other person.

11. PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATIONS

By entering, each entrant consents to the Sponsor’s collection and use of their name and email address for the purposes of administering the Contest, including contacting and verifying the winner.

Entrants will also receive a confirmation email and a series of educational communications from Global X regarding commodities market research and insights.

Entrants will also be automatically be opted in to receive additional promotional communications from Global X that are beyond the scope and period of this Contest (Note: you can opt out at any time without impacting your chances of winning in this Contest).

Entrants may unsubscribe from Global X marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect an entry submitted prior to unsubscribing. The Sponsor will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation and its Privacy Policy, available at www.globalx.ca. The Sponsor will not sell entrants’ personal information; it may be shared with trusted service providers engaged to administer the Contest or send communications on the Sponsor’s behalf, who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

12. GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time, including in the event of fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Contest. In the event of cancellation, no Prize will be awarded.
Any entry containing false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information, or that misrepresents eligibility, will be disqualified. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant or winner and to require proof of identity and residence.
The Sponsor, Mirae Asset Financial Group, and their respective affiliates, agents, and representatives are not liable for: lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or undeliverable entries or communications; technical, hardware, software, network, or telecommunications failures; or any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.
By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to release and indemnify the foregoing parties from any liability arising in connection with the Contest or the Prize, and consents to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
These Rules may be amended only by the Sponsor. In the event of any discrepancy between these Rules and any other Contest information (including advertising, the FAQ, or any other materials), these Rules will govern.

13. NO INVESTMENT ADVICE

This Contest, and all Contest materials, are for general promotional purposes only and do not constitute investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, an offer or solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any security or other financial product. Nothing in this Contest should be interpreted as a representation regarding the past or future performance of any Global X exchange-traded fund or other investment product. Commodities and commodity-related investments carry risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Investors should read the relevant prospectus and consult their own advisor before investing.

14. GOVERNING LAW

This Contest is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. All disputes arising out of or relating to the Contest will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, except where prohibited by applicable law.
