Chris McHaney, CFA®

Chris is an experienced investment professional with a deep understanding of the ETF industry and ecosystem in Canada, with more than twenty years of experience covering portfolio management, investment strategy and policy, product development, and sales. Prior to joining Global X, he served as BMO Global Asset Management’s Director, Portfolio Manager, where he oversaw the management of both passive and active strategies, derivative overlays, foreign exchange exposures and cross-asset portfolios. Chris holds an Honors Business Administration degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Raghav Mehta, CFA®
VP, ETF Strategist, Global X Canada
Raghav Mehta is responsible for conducting research on behalf of Global X Canada to gain market insights and drive idea generation across equities, fixed income and alternative ETFs. He is directly involved in growing Global X’s ETF distribution efforts, national accounts, investment research and market presence while communicating ETF product capabilities, competitor intelligence and market trends to clients, prospects and industry experts across Canada. Mr. Mehta is focused on helping advisors and institutional clients understand how they can incorporate ETFs into their investment portfolios.
Raghav started his career trading bonds as a fixed income trader and worked at Scotia Capital and RBC Capital Markets. He previously worked at Fidelity Investments as an ETF Strategist.
Mr. Mehta holds a business degree from the University of Toronto and is a CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder.

Candice Bangsund, CFA®
Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Global Asset Allocation and Private Markets Solutions, Fiera Capital
Candice Bangsund, CFA is Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Global Asset Allocation and Private Markets Solutions at Fiera Capital. She is a member of the Global Asset Allocation Committee, focusing on central banks and fundamental macro analysis, and actively participates in the development and communication of the firm’s asset allocation strategy. Ms. Bangsund also serves as the global spokesperson for Fiera Capital relating to all economic and investment matters and is Lead Portfolio Manager on the Fiera Diversified Lending, Diversified Real Estate, and Diversified Real Asset Strategies. Her career in the investment industry spans over 15 years, including several years as an investment research analyst for Franklin Templeton Investments. While working at Franklin Templeton, Ms. Bangsund gained extensive experience in conducting global macroeconomic analysis focusing on asset classes, regions, sectors, commodities, and currencies. She also conducted multi-manager fund research and analysis with a focus on Canadian and Global Equity asset classes. Ms. Bangsund joined Fiera Capital in 2012 upon its acquisition of Calgary-based Canadian Wealth Management Group Inc, where she managed North American equity portfolios as well as the asset allocation decisions for private wealth clients. She joined the Fiera Capital Global Asset Allocation team in 2014. Ms. Bangsund obtained her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2009 and holds a degree in Finance from the University of Regina.
