Battle of the Metals: Positioning Gold, Silver, Copper & Uranium within a Modern Portfolio

25/11/25 - 2:19 pm

Four forces. Four very different investment stories. In this live debate, our experts square off to make the case for gold, silver, copper, and uranium—each with its own role in today’s shifting market landscape.

Rather than treating them as one category, our experts will break down what makes each metal unique:

  • Gold as a potential store of value and portfolio stabilizer.
  • Silver with its dual identity as both a precious and industrial metal.
  • Copper as an essential input for electrification, AI infrastructure, and energy systems.
  • Uranium as the nuclear fuel tied to energy security and decarbonization.

You’ll learn different viewpoints on what’s pushing each metal forward, what could hold it back, the big forces shaping demand, and the key risks to keep in mind.

What we’ll cover:

  • Macro landscape
How inflation trends, rate expectations, currency shifts, and global energy policy are influencing metals markets today.
  • Investment case for each metal
The forces shaping demand, the supply considerations, the catalysts worth watching, and the pressures that could challenge each narrative.
  • Market dynamics
How valuations, policy decisions, and technological change are creating both opportunities and potential setbacks across gold, silver, copper, and uranium.
  • Portfolio application
Ways to think about balancing risk, diversification, and long-term themes when incorporating metals into a modern asset mix.
